Chris Walker, aka DJ Toph, is a House DJ & Producer from Essex, UK, delivering uplifting, high-energy House music rooted in classic influences and modern club sound.
An active and emerging producer, Toph’s debut release ‘Destiny’ received praise from Chicago House icon Marshall Jefferson, while his latest track ‘It’s That Feeling’, a collaboration with legendary vocalist Angie Brown, achieved a Top 3 position on Beatport. His productions showcase a passion for uplifting, feel-good House music and have received support from industry tastemakers including Claptone, Jamie Jones, Crystal Waters, DJ Minx, Lizzie Curious, Sam Frandisco and Tenacious.
Toph is currently studying a degree in Music Production & Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music School, continuing to refine his sound and studio craft.
As a DJ, Toph is known for interactive, crowd-engaging performances, drawing inspiration from labels such as Defected, Glitterbox, Toolroom, Soulfuric, Hed Kandi and Let There Be House, and artists including Mark Knight, Low Steppa, Wh0, Armand Van Helden, Mousse T and Melvo Baptiste. His sets blend Jackin’, Funky and Disco House with the occasional tech twist, designed to lift the room and sustain dancefloor energy.
He has shared line-ups with respected industry names including Angie Brown, Graeme Park, Seb Fontaine, Danny Clockwork, Milk & Sugar, DJ Rae, Ridney, Sebb Junior and Angelo Ferreri.
Toph hosts the weekly ‘House Heat’ show on Digital City Radio 103.7FM, broadcasting every Friday, and has appeared at venues and events including Boxpark Shoreditch with Let There Be House, alongside charity initiatives with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.
